Again this year, we will share our school supplies with local organizations that serve our community. We will also provide filled backpacks to our own After School Program and Agape English Ministry families.

We are asking for monetary donations so that our Crosswalk KidMin Team can purchase the exact items to fulfill the list for each bag.

So, what does it cost to fill a book bag? The average cost is about $40 for the book bag and supplies. Items included in the backpacks are: pencil box, pencils, large erasers, glue sticks, notebook paper, pocket folders, markers and crayons. Book bags for secondary students also include pens, highlighters, binders, and scientific calculators, depending on the grade level.

Would you be willing to fill a book bag or two? Or donate whatever you would normally spend on supplies? You can contribute either of these ways:

To donate by check, send your check (memo marked “Back2School event”) to the church office at 56 N. Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or drop in the offering box. You do not need to complete the form below.
